Alex Stark
Principal Engineer
My Background
After earning my Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and finding my way into a field that I didn't have a passion for, I chose to go back and earn Master's Degree through a renewables focused Energy Engineering program.
I've worked in the solar industry since 2018 and been on multiple sides of the value chain (module manufacturer, developer, and EPC) along the way.
In doing so I have run countless energy models, helped steward dozens of projects through their performance testing, and been a contributing member to a well-renowned PV modeling software.
Through my experiences I've gained an intimate knowledge of what drives an accurate PV model, what plagues a performance test, and how to set up realistic expectations for all stakeholders involved.
